Absolutely right. I've always thought the same. As a matter of fact, one of Bon Scott's biggest influences WAS Paul Rodgers and they also share an eerie physical resemblance, stage presence and vocalization style. No doubt they are both my top favorite rock vocalists. Not to forget the talented Paul Kossoff. All hard rock pioneers indeed. Music like this and that 70's era never to be repeated.

Then management announced that Family?s violinist had mislaid his instrument somewhere & they didn?t fancy playing without it. Bit of a stand-off for a while. Then Free offered to do a second set to fill the gap. That kicked Chappo & Co?s butts right where it was needed! Somehow they found the bottle to get out there after all and perform (not too badly, as it turned out).

@legosaw Absolutely right. I've always thought the same. As a matter of fact, one of Bon Scott's biggest influences WAS Paul Rodgers and they also share an eerie physical resemblance, stage presence and vocalization style. No doubt they are both my top favorite rock vocalists. Not to forget the talented Paul Kossoff. All hard rock pioneers indeed. Music like this and that 70's era never to be repeated.
